200 km south of Bangkok you find Hua Hin. This beach town on the northern part of the Malay Peninsula became more popular in the last years. Hua Hin is famous because of her beautiful beaches and it is very famous among the locals. After a long day on the beach you can have some great seafood dishes in one of the many restaurants on the boulevard. Hua Hin is also a great place for shopaholics. The authentic night market is a great place to buy your last gifts for home or yourself ;-). If you really are interested in the culture of Hua Hin you have to get up around 7:00 in the morning and go to the beach. Follow the beach and meet the locals who are preparing themselves for a new day, go to the fishermen and look at the catch of the day and drink coffee in one of the coffeehouses close to the beach. Here at Hua Hin, shopping can never be boring. You get to shop almost anything you want just like any other place in the world. The Hua Hin people, being lovers of art, offer you different kinds of art products you can buy such as handicrafts, paintings, sculptures and many more. These may be bought at Hua Hin Arts & Crafts Centre at Nongplub Road. Handicrafts of all types may also be bought at Phaiboon at Dechanuchit Road. The Hua Hin Gallery Orient at Sra-Song Road, Antique Furniture Supply at Naresdamri Road, Chang Thai at Dechanuchit Road, Thai Wood Décor at Petchkasem Road have a great deal of items to accessorize your house like handicrafts, antiques, wood carvings and furniture. Samples of Thai pottery may be bought at Gaw Gai Shop at Dechanuchit Road. If you are into jewelries, handcrafted jewelries can be bought at Saphira at Petchakasem Road. Both gold and silver pieces are available there. But if you are more into silver jewelries, Sistema at Selakam Road is a well known distributor of silver pieces in Thailand. There, you may find all sorts of silver jewelry pieces and surely, there will always be one you will be wanting to buy. If you love cheese, there is one factory here where you can buy it. In fact, most hotels here order their cheese at this factory which is the Del Casaro at Hua Hin Soi. And note that they only use low-fat milk so eating their cheese will make you less guilty. Hua Hin does have a shopping center already and it is the Hua Hin Market Village at Petkasem Road. At the Market Village, you may now buy products of international brands such as Adidas. And do not forget the Night Market. It is one of the attractions of Hua Hin. This happens every evening at the town centre. Handicrafts are also sold there and all other sorts of things and Thai food that you should try while you in Hua Hin.
