Are poor neighbourhoods safe?

0Hello! I want to visit Cairo with a girlfriend (I am a girl too). We especially want to see the poorer areas and how people live there. How safe is it to move around during the day / at night? How should we get around? Thanks for any advice!

I wish you happy day and the answer for your question is to be in a save side ,,you will need to have a local friend and this is just to know how to deal with people in this places....people are nice ,,but sometimes don't understand how to deal with strangers.
